This Privacy Policy describes how OAH Accounting ("the App", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

2. What the App Does

OAH Accounting is a personal accounting tool that allows registered users to:

• Record and track income entries (amount, title, description, date, and income type)
• Record and track expense entries (amount, title, description, and date)
• View financial summaries and graphs
• Manage a personal user profile

All financial data is private to the individual account holder.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account Information

To use the App you must create an account. During registration we collect:

• Email address — used to identify your account and for authentication
• Name — displayed within the app as a greeting
• Organisation name (optional) — used to group users within an organisation

3.2 Financial Records

When you add income or expense entries, we store:

• Amount
• Title and description (provided by you)
• Date of the transaction
• Income type/category (for income entries)

This data is linked to your user account and stored on our servers.

3.3 Device Permissions

The App may request access to your device camera for profile photo functionality. This permission is optional — the camera is only accessed if you choose to upload a photo. No images are collected or stored without your explicit action.

3.4 Automatically Collected Data

We use Firebase Authentication (provided by Google LLC) to manage login sessions. Firebase may automatically collect certain technical data such as device identifiers and authentication tokens as part of its normal operation. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and secure your account
• To store and display your financial records within the App
• To display your name in the personalised greeting
• To allow you to manage and delete your data

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Firebase / Google — authentication tokens and session management are handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) as a technical necessity for secure login.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users, we may disclose information to relevant authorities.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our backend servers. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at mowaboye32@gmail.com.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data via the profile screen in the App
• Delete your account and all associated financial records
• Export your data — contact us to request a copy

8. Children's Privacy

OAH Accounting is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
